Remember your first time… your first friendship, your first kiss, your first special someone, your first amazing travel experience… There is something about doing things the first time that makes the experience memorable. Start your scuba experience with a Try Dive
The first time you manage to casually breath and see underwater is one such experience. Its exciting, exhilarating and it’ll set you free. For some people, it takes a little extra nudge to leave the comfort of the shoreline and step into a world filled with wonders. That extra nudge comes from a Try Dive in Andaman.
A Try Dive is scuba diving for beginners. It is done in an environment where there are no external factors like animals that may act as a threat. These dives allow you to take your time to get comfortable with the experience instead of doing a hurried lesson.
If you just want to give scuba a try without investing too much time and money then a try dive is for you. During a typical try dive session, you will be in fairly shallow waters by the shore. You’ll be taught about all the scuba equipment and how to use them during the dive. This will be followed by an actual shallow underwater dive accompanied by a qualified instructor. It will allow you to slowly acclimatize to the increase in water pressure and ease it out on you.
The biggest fear during the first diving session for beginners is the lack of air and thought that you may not able Delete repeated word to breath properly. The fact is that the scuba regulator gives you enough air for breathing but you may feel the lack of it because of intense adrenalin production and anxiousness. A try dive gives you the assurance that you are close to the surface at all times and your feet are touching the bottom of the dive area, relieving this anxiousness to a good extent.
What happens during a Try Dive?
You will first stand with your feet firmly planted to the bottom and put your head underneath to see if you can breath comfortably. Once your first fear is out, you can set out for a short shallow swim. Always hold eye contact with your instructor as it will tell him everything he needs to know about your safety without you saying a word. The try dive will then give you time to adapt to the underwater environment. You can even play some exciting underwater games to take your mind off any worry and start enjoying the experience. The maximum depth of a try dive is 5-7m and you will always have your instructor by your side to help you.
Once you are set, you can then proceed to the Discover Scuba program which will get you to the exciting world you are waiting to explore.
