Close to Diglipur, you can travel to the Aerial Bay by road and secure permits and arranging a boat for your trip to the islands. After a wonderful 20-minute boat ride the blue-green clear water beach comes to view with the North Andaman peaks in the background.. Anchoring at Smith Islands, you can first explore the nature trails and tropical forests here before hopping on to the neighboring Ross Island.
Once the sun starts shinning bright, the water reveals hues of blues and greens are a rare beauty. You will be absolutely mesmerised by the colour play that changes with the tide and the sun. The island beaches are kissed by sea waves and offer an opportunity like snorkeling and sun basking. Smith Islands offers a lovely nature trail among the tropical forests. It invites you to take one of those nice long walks where you can enjoy the silence while having a conversation with the universe. Since the island and surrounding areas form a Marine Park, you can be sure spot some interesting sights of underwater creatures.

Once you are back, you can take your time at the white sand bar that connects to Ross Island. This is a little piece of tropical paradise that comes straight out of a dream picture postcard. Once you get to Ross Islands, you can take the time to enjoy the beach. If you travel in a non-peak season, there is a chance you can get a feel of having the beach exclusively to yourself.
