Port Blair to Havelock Ferry or Port Blair to Neil Islands Ferry<\/p>\n

You can either take the private ferry to these islands or the government ferry. The private ferries have more frequency \u2013 3 to 4 per day while there are 2-3 government ferries. The differences are clear. Private ferries are expensive, faster, have newer vessels and also have online bookings. Government ferries cheaper but slower have older vessels and bookings via direct agents.<\/p>\n

Private vessels are ideal for tourists on a schedule and government vehicles can be chosen if you are on a really tight budget and don\u2019t have a time constrain.<\/p>\n

Port Blair to Little Andaman, Long Island or Diglipur by Ferry<\/p>\n

Here you only have government ferries available and the best way to book these are with the help of a local travel agent.<\/p>\n

The additional catch is that government ferries can be booked only 1-4 days before the actual travel. Government ferry booking is available in the counters only. There are no direct agents available for Government ferry booking. With private ferries and their online booking and fixed schedules you can easily plan in advance and book.<\/p>\n
