Duration: 1/2 a day

If you have no prior experience and doubt your swimming skills, a try dive is for you. You can experience all of the thrills of diving in just half a day. During a Try Dive in Andaman, an instructor will brief you with the theoretical part on diving. You will be made familiar with the equipment and what to expect during your first dive. The instructor will take you at your pace to ensure you are fully ready to take the plunge. After this, the instructor will take you to the dive site and you can do your first try dive in Andaman. It is fun, filled with adventure and thrills. It is most definitely one of the most memorable experiences of one’s life. The whole program lasts half a day and most dive agencies will also provide you with underwater photos and videos. Don’t forget to carry a USB to collect them. A note: While you don’t need to know swimming, you’ll need to be healthy with no existing medical conditions to qualify for a try dive.

2. Learn diving – Diving Course for beginners in Andaman
Duration: 1.5-4 days

Most people who do a Try Dive are mesmerized with the experience. So much so, that they want to learn the nuances of the diving process and spend more time underwater. They best way to do this is by taking up an Open Water course.
The two biggest diver training agencies in the world are PADI and SSI. On completion of your Open Water course, you will get a certificate from either of the two depending on who your diving agency is affiliated with. There are minor differences in the two but generally both are accepted around the world. The advanced Open Water course consists of 5 dives out of which two are mandatory. Every course can offer a fair share of adventure and it is really up to you to pick what you want.
