Andaman Holidays began with a dream and just Rs.100 in hand. In 1998, our founder, Mr. Rathnam, arrived in the Andaman Islands in search of opportunities. While working in hotels, he quickly saw the prospects in tourism.
In 1999, with 100 business cards as his first investment, he started Yatra Travels, offering services to visitors in Port Blair. His excellent service caught the attention of local bank managers, who began recommending him, leading to growing bookings even before guests arrived.
In 2003, we entered the yachting business by handling our first yacht. Today, Andaman Holidays manages 75% of the yachts visiting the islands, becoming a leader in the market.
